Tadeusz Slobodzianek

A mi osztályunk

drama

A small community comes together to celebratie its class reunion – Polish and Jewish students alike. People from a generation whose fate was sealed by the horrors of the Second World War. And though the anniversary itself is a happy event, the traumas of war are very unsettling, and bring out dramatic discoveries. The drama bears the message of tolerance and forgiveness, the acceptance of differences and of those who are different, transcending aggressive impulses, accepting historic inevitability, from an enlightened, open point of view.

Director Anca Bradu was born in Oradea. She graduated from the Bucharest Theatre and Film Academy in 1994. For Szigligeti Company, she has directed Kasimir and Karoline, and Café. In the past season, local audiences had the chance to see Antigoné, directed by her for Csokonai National Theatre Debrecen.
