Premiere on International Dance Day
Since the 1982 decision by the Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute, every year, the birthday of French ballet dancer Jean-Georges Noverre, the 29th of April, is International Dance Day.
On this day, Nagyvárad Ensemble of Szigligeti Theatre presents its newest dance theatre performance, Blind Spot, at 8 PM in Szigligeti Studio. The performance tells the story of two young people, a man and a woman, both diagnosed with bipolar disorder, who seek healing through art therapy. The more engrossed they get in the magic of artistic creation, the further away they are swept from their illness.
Tickets are available at the booking office of Szigligeti Theatre (open Monday to Friday 2—7 PM, or one hour before the start of the shows), or online, at www.biletmaster.ro, at the price of 20 Lei for adults and 10 Lei for students and pensioners. The show is financed from the Imre Zoltán Program of the National Cultural Fund (Hungary).
