Sea of Nations in Carei
Because of its great success, Nagyvárad Ensemble’s folk performance Sea of Nations will be played in the Town Theatre of Carei today, 4 June, at 7 pm.
The performance includes authentic folk songs and and dances and is universally liked by children and adults alike, especially due to its humour and spectacular choreographies.
contest Sea of Nations, put to the stage by Gerg? Sánta, solo dancer of Hungarian National Dance Ensemble (former Honvéd Ensemble), features many acclaimed performers and artists, such as lead violinist Tamás Nyitrai, dancer János Appelshoffer, solo dancers Tünde Rémia and Anna Sánta-Biró, as well as Kristóf Fundák and Lili Fundák-Kaszai, winners of the televised folk dance talent show The Peacock has Flown.
The show is sponsored by the National Cultural Fund of Hungary and Bethlen Gábor Fund.
