You Better Come Home With Me

The tale is set in the far away Wild West and revolves around the fate of an orphan boy, who was drifted away once in a trough by the grey river and since then he is wandering alone along the water looking for his parents or perhaps for a familiar path or landscape at least. During his wanderings he meets the Scarecrow, who according to the local traditions greets him with: “You better come home with me!” The child misinterprets the greeting and answers: “Let’s go” and he follows the Scarecrow. The Scarecrow finds this a bit peculiar but still he takes home the nice child, who has joined him. And here begins the bitterly sweet story about the strange characters of a small community, about the little bit suspicious, but elegant Fox, the morose, severe-looking Old Man, the Witch, who tries to hide her goodness unsuccessfully, the kind-hearted Scarecrow, the lovely Alexandra, who is concerned about the deer and about the Snowman, who has got a delicate soul. We would like to dedicate our performance to the former group of creators: Ildikó Kovács, János Péter, Zoltán Balló, Zsuzsa Balló, Ildikó Jakab, Júlia Sigmond, Kálmán Koblicska, Sándor Jobbágy, Éva G. Ferencz and Béla Köntés.

Join us and follow the Scarecrow, the Fox, the Old Man, the Witch, the Snowman, Alexandra and Buci-Cow. And let’s help the Boy together to find the place where he belongs…because everybody belongs somewhere.
