It is evidently quite difficult to keep traditions alive, but it certainly lives on in the inmost parts of people's souls.
The new performance by Maros Art Ensemble shows a dream-like world in which the past, hidden in our subconscious, is evoked in our present times. It is a folk-theatre-dance performance that creates a modern theatre play out of authentic folk dance, using dance landscapes from Transylvania. Director-choreographer Zsolt Juhász's concept is combined with the authentic dancing style of Maros Art Ensemble, thus bringing to life a very special landscape that will hopefully draw the attention of experts and audiences alike.
