Lilliput Company is Preparing a Story With Dragons

Lilliput Company is preparing a new performance, scheduled to premiere at the beginning of May. We are in for an exciting adventure with dragons, directed by Róbert Hanyecz Debelka. Because we were not able to buy the rights of J. R. R. Tolkien's Farmer Giles of Ham, announced at the beginning of the season, instead, we will play the tale Furka Pista and the Dragon, written by Attila Szabó.

Between Flubdubland and Longvalley, there lies Dreamville. It's Autumn. Women are shredding the corn they have gathered, while the men are at the pub, drinking, as usual, telling stories about heroes or worrying about the crop – because in Dreamville, not only corn, but also stories grow in abundance, especially tales about dragons, the villagers' favourites. Furka Pista is a simple farmer who feels indignant at these foolish things. There haven't been any dragons here since forever! he says, but little does he know that the usual groove of Dreamville is about to get turned upside down.
