Read-throughs Started for Poor Johnny and Arnika

Lilliput Company have began the read-throughs for their upcoming play. Poor Johnny and Arnika, written by Ervin Lázár, will be put to the stage by director Kata Csató.

With this puppet theatre show, aimed at preschool and primary school children, we would like to introduce our audience to Ervin Lázár’s wonderful and sensitive world. Poor Johnny and Arnika is about the fantastic adventures through which the protagonists finally get to the Seven-headed Fairy, who in turn will help them break the curse of the Hundred-faced Witch. Regarding its educational value, the tale is a traditional one: children can easily identify with the characters because they have all gone through or are going through feelings and experiences similar to the ones presented on the stage, thus, they will have no difficulty in understanding the message.
