We Danced in Bergamo
Bihor County Council and a well-known low-cost airline have organized a series of events to promote the newly inaugurated Milano—Oradea flight. The dancers of Nagyvárad Ensemble greeted the passangers of the flight, about to depart towards our city, with a short performance. Our folk dances had a great success at the Milano-Bergamo Airport, stopping the traffic at the busy Italian terminal for almost 20 minutes. The organizers also prepared a cake for the passengers heading for Oradea, who also received small gift bags containing a piece of home-made chocolate wrapped in a map of Bihor County, along with a certificate attesting the fact that they were passengers of the festive flight. Besides the delegation from Bihor, Giacomo Cattaneo, commander of the airport, also attended.
Our next venue will be the Milano Tourism Fair, where Bihor County is present with its own booth, promoting the tourist attractions of Oradea, Stana de Vale and other regions of the county. In closing of the four-day event series, on 4 April, the General Consulate of Romania in Milano, along with the Romanian Embassy in Rome, organizes an evening dedicated to Bihor County. Dancers of Nagyvárad Ensemble will perform at all the aforementioned locations, representing our city and culture.
