Nagyvárad Ensemble at the Arad International New Theatre Festival

Between 6—14 May, Ioan Slavici Classical Theatre Arad organizes the fifth edition of Arad International New Theatre Festival, to which Nagyvárad Ensemble's Collisions is also invited. This year's festival motto is MicROmania – meaning that the organizers wish to draw attention to actual events, our personal and collective customs, and everyday life, sometimes ironically, at other times, crying or laughing together, using the diverse means of theatre art.

Szigligeti Theatre's dance ensemble will take the stage of the Arad theatre on Saturday, 13 May. The invitation is all the more honouring because it is, in a way, an acknowledgement of the company's efforts in creating Collisions. This is because the Arad International New Theatre Festival openly aims to acknowlegde promising artists and companies who have shown significant progress by inviting them to perform, supporting progress, professional openness, originality and fresh perspectives. Besides our artists, the festival will feature companies from Bucharest, Cluj, Timi?oara, Sf. Gheorghe, and also from Poland.
