Only Christ – dance theatre show for Reformation Memorial Year

Szigligeti Theatre honours the Reformation 500 Memorial Year with the co-production of Duna M?vészegyüttes Ensemble and Göncöl Orchestra, Solus Christus (Only Christ). In closing of the 500th anniversary of the birth of Protestantism, the show scheduled for the 17th of February, at 7 PM, is about the timelessness of the values of the Reformation.

„This is the central idea of our dance theatre performance: the values of the Reformation are not museal, but alive, real here and now, in our own present” – director Zsolt Juhász has said earlier. In the performance, besides Hungarian folk elements, there are works of art, psalms and other religious songs as well.

Tickets for Solus Christus, sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resources, Aranykert Association and Reformation 500, are already available at the booking office of Szigligeti Theatre (open Monday to Friday 2 to 7 PM, or one hour before the start of the shows), and online, at www.biletmaster.ro.

Combined Tickets will be available for the guest performance of Solus Christus, on 17 February at 7 PM, and The Caucasian Chalk Circle, scheduled for 20 February, at 7 PM, for the stalls and the balcony, at the discount price of 35 RON.
